How to play
Triliza (τρίλιζα) is the Greek name for the game the world knows as tic-tac-toe — three simple rules, endless little battles.
Take turns
You are X and move first. You and the sea alternate placing marks in any empty square.
Make a line
On the 3×3 board, three in a row wins. On the 5×5 board you need four in a row — horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
Collect stars
Every win earns stars: 1 on Calm, 2 on Breeze, 3 on Storm — and one bonus star for winning on the 5×5 board.
The Seaside Café
Pour a coffee and let the morning ocean bossa nova play while you drift through a few rounds. Press play below — the music keeps going wherever you are on the page, and the 🎷 button in the corner pauses or resumes it any time.
About this place
Triliza · Sea of Calm was made for the small pauses in a day: a coffee break, a quiet evening, a moment between tasks. The colours are borrowed from the Aegean in early summer — deep pine greens meeting seafoam and warm sand — because a game this simple deserves a peaceful shore to be played on.
The "Storm" difficulty on the classic board uses a perfect-play algorithm, which means the best result you can achieve against it is a draw. "Breeze" makes occasional human mistakes, and "Calm" plays like a daydreaming friend. The 5×5 board is a bigger, stormier sea where four in a row wins. Everything runs in your browser — no downloads, no account — and your stars stay with you for the whole visit.
