Triliza (τρίλιζα) is the Greek name for tic-tac-toe. You are X and always move first. Three in a row wins on the 3×3 board; the 5×5 board needs four in a row — horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Wins earn stars: 1 on Calm, 2 on Breeze, 3 on Storm, plus a bonus star on the 5×5 board. Your stars are remembered next time you visit.
The shore behind the board is a real photograph, and the café jazz is not a recording — the page composes it live, note by note: soft piano chords, a lazy bossa nova bass and brushed rhythm over the sound of waves. It never repeats exactly and belongs entirely to this site. The "Storm" difficulty on the classic board plays perfectly — the best you can achieve against it is a draw.
